We are so excited about finally releasing our CD. This has been our lifelong dream, and ultimate goal. And, it was a lot of fun creating it. Our next objective is to do a national (and, eventually, an international) tour. We have very strong ideas that we encompass in all of our songs. Our mission is to be a positive influence and an inspiration of hope for a better tomorrow.

The last 12 months have been exciting. The Del Mar Fair, last summer, was only the beginning. This year, we have a lot more shows and events lined up, including a performance at the Orange County Fair. And, we have our CD completed and available on iTunes and other online distributors. I'm looking forward to another great year.

My name is Justin Bauman. I am sixteen years old and have been teaching myself guitar for five years. I've written many songs on my own based on my failures and success even before joining MLR. But I've never clicked as well with anyone else as I do with Derrick and Kevin and I'm so relieved I've finally found what I was looking for. To me music isn't just a series of pleasing sounds. It tells the stories behind others lives and shows all the emotional baggage that comes with it. I always enjoy it no matter what kind of mood I'm in and my songwriting has always served as an outlet to stress or any other emotion I'm feeling at the time.

My Last Revelation begins a new era. Jared Miller stepped down as guitarist so that he could focus on his grades, with the goal of traveling to Japan at the end of his senior year in high school. We wish him the best. But, most of all, we will miss him.

Justin Bauman, a long-time friend of Derrick, Kevin, and Jared, is taking Jared's place on stage. This new talent change has affected the dynamics of the band and its music. Justin brings with him a new style and sound which has already influenced the new songs.

The band is already planning its next CD, and with it, a whole new set. This new music is different than their last CD -- it is fuller, deeper, and more complex. However, the storytelling is still positive and uplifting.

I call these changes the "Revelation Evolution"; which plays a important part in the new "Revelation Revolution" that is following their music. Keep returning to this site for more informaiton on this new phenomenon.

It is a musical roller-coaster ride; an anthology of a young man's entry into adulthood; his rite of passage. It begins with the rise of innocence; an optimistic view of life through rose-colored glasses. Then, it drops down into high-G twists and turns of first love and loss, obsessions, and substance abuse. In the last leg home, our character finally sees what life has to offer. He realizes this is not the life he wants; and takes on the challenge of changing it.
